FAQ’s
1. How does CEQUIN make a difference to the overwhelming problem of violence against women?
Founded in 2009, CEQUIN is dedicated to advancing gender equity by transforming the culture that allows violence and discrimination. We work through a preventive, intersectional, rights-based and sports for development approach to address structural violence, and shape gender attitudes and beliefs before they solidify into norms. To address gender based violence, we believe that the need of the hour is empowerment, which sees people as agents of change; rather than just passive beneficiaries of health and development programmes. Our work collectivises girls and women, in partnership with men, boys, key community stakeholders including educational institutes, civil society organisations, local representatives, funders, think tanks, government, media and the private sector – to build gender equitable communities and unleash transformational change.
2. What will CEQUIN do with my donation?
Your donation will directly support CEQUIN’s programmes and initiatives running across different locations in Delhi, Haryana & Rajasthan.
